Overview of Bug Time-to-Resolution by Industry

Time-to-resolution is the number of business days it takes for a security team to resolve a reported bug from the time it was reported. Government and transportation sectors take the longest time, with an average of 68 business days from bug discovery to resolution, while the consumer goods industry takes the least amount of time – an average of 14 business days to fix a bug.
