Mobile Security: Percentage of Jailbroken/Rooted Devices Is Decreasing

Jailbreaking and rooting of mobile devices has decreased in recent years as newer versions of operating systems now provide increased functionality. Apple jailbreaking in 2017 occurred in 1 in 14,351 devices, down from 1 in 10,839 devices in 2016. Android had just 1 in 1,589 devices jailbroken in 2017.
