Hidden Costs Account for 95% of Breach Financial Impact

There are a number of factors impacting the costs companies face following a breach. These include visible costs such as customer breach notification and improving cybersecurity, as well as some more hidden costs, such as lost value of customer relations and insurance premium increases. These hidden costs account for approximately 95 percent of the overall costs of a breach, according to analysis from Deloitte.
