CISOs Far More Confident Than Board in Effectiveness of Security Program

CISOs are far more confident in the effectiveness of their security program than the Board of Directors. A full 42 percent of CISOs expressed confidence in their program, while only 13 percent said they were not confident. On the other end of the spectrum, only 5 percent of Board members said they were confident in their organization’s security program, while 49 percent said they were not confident.
