The percentage of targeted cyber attacks is on the rise. Between 2015 and 2017, the percentage of targeted cyber attacks (as opposed to non-targeted, non-specific attacks), grew 11 percent from 28 percent to 39 percent. Targeted attacks are aimed at a specific company, employee, resources or customers.
