Percentage of Breaches Attributed to Insiders Increasing

Insiders are becoming an increasingly challenging threat for organizations to deal with. Between 2014 and 2016 the percentage of data breaches attributed to internal attackers grew 12 percent from 18 percent to 30 percent, while those attributed to external attackers decreased at the same rate.
