Unfortunately, 70 percent of enterprises that do not emphasize security as part of their hardware lifecycle management say they feel unprepared for a firmware-related attack. Further, 50 percent of organizations that do prioritize security within their hardware lifecycle management reported at least one incident of malware-infected firmware in 2016.
